Adopters

So you’re new to the world of adoption? You’re on this site because you’re at least slightly interested in the topic.. that’s a good start!

We’ll start with the answer to the most basic question…

What is adoption and what does it mean to be an adopter?

Adoption is a way of opening yourself and your family up to a child when living with their own birth family isn’t an option, for example if the parents have died or simply can’t handle looking after a child. In essence you’re giving the child another chance in life of experiencing a real family.

I want to know the rough outline of the adoption process without reading a whole novel…

First things first, you can only adopt a child under the age of 18, over this age and they’re legally considered an adult. You can only adopt a child if returning home to their parents is no possible (could be dead or unsuitable by law). In the unlikely but possible circumstance that the child is or has been married then you’ll also not be able to adopt them.

An adoption order must be issued which will end any legal ties with the birth parents/family and hands over legal parental rights to the new family adopting the child. Once you have been issued with this adoption order the parents can not try to claim them back so your mind would be at rest at least! Many mums will say that’s their biggest fear, the birth parents trying to claim the child back years later.

Thats all I have for now but I hope this helps give you the basic idea of being adopters!

It is an established fact that one should develop all aspects of personality for a completely healthy being.  I believe the way to that is through indulging the five senses of sight, sound, taste, scent and feel.

Make yourself a feast with the recipes I have posted.  Some may be simple but it is a good start to something grand.  Exercise your brain a little and read through my opinion on some aspects of politics and form your own.  Go places with my words from different parts of the globe.  To complete the setting, let writeups on music guide you to the right tune that should be oozing from your speakers.
